Frequently asked questions
The essentials for finding communities and listing your server. For anything else, contact me.
What is DiscRadar?
DiscRadar is a free Discord server list and directory. Browse by category, search by name or tags, and join servers through invite links. Server owners can list their communities and use bumping to stay near the top of the homepage.
How do I find Discord servers on DiscRadar?
Open the homepage Discord server list, pick a category hub (for example Gaming or Anime), or search by name and tags. Rank shows communities with the most weekly bump points; Trending shows the most recently bumped; Members sorts by Discord member count.
How do I add my Discord server?
Click "Add Your Server" in the navigation bar. Sign in with Discord, pick a server you manage, then add descriptions, up to 3 categories, and up to 6 tags. Inviting the DiscRadar bot is optional but recommended for live counts, /bump in Discord, and bump reward roles. If you skip the bot, you must paste your own Discord invite link.
Do I need the DiscRadar bot?
No. The bot is optional but recommended. With it you get live member and online counts, /bump in Discord, and bump reward roles (give members a Discord role when they bump your server). Without it, counts will not stay updated, you cannot bump from Discord or set a reward role, and you must provide your own invite link. You can still bump from the website dashboard.
How does bumping work?
Bumping moves your listing toward the top of DiscRadar. With the bot, you can bump once every 6 hours from Discord with /bump. You can always bump from your dashboard with Bump now, Monday through Saturday UTC.
What do Rank, Trending, and Members do?
Those three buttons change the order of servers on the homepage. They do not hide or filter servers. Rank is the default: servers with the most bump points this week are listed first. If two servers have the same points, the one that bumped sooner after the bump window opened ranks higher (even milliseconds count). Trending puts the most recently bumped server first, regardless of points. Servers that have never been bumped go to the bottom. Members sorts by Discord member count, largest first. If two servers have the same count, they are ordered A-Z by name. If you type something in the search box, results are ordered by search match instead. Clear the search to use Rank, Trending, or Members again.
Are NSFW servers allowed on DiscRadar?
Yes. They are allowed as long as the server is marked as NSFW. Servers that are NSFW but do not have this mark will be deleted.
Is DiscRadar free?
Yes. Browsing the Discord server directory and listing your community are free. Optional tips via Support Us help keep the project online but never buy permanent rank placement.
